Wexlab Client Review creates a simple client-to-developer review workflow directly on your live WordPress pages — no client login, no extra software, no email back-and-forth needed to explain where a change should go.
For the developer
- Go to Client Review > Add Review in the WordPress admin.
- Enter the clientÌtumọ̀ Yorùbá: ’s name, email, and the page URL to review.
- The plugin emails the client a secure review link automatically.
- See the clientÌtumọ̀ Yorùbá: ’s comments, their exact position on the page, and their status right in your WordPress dashboard.
- Mark each item In Progress or Ready for Review as you complete it, then request another client review.
For the client
- Open the secure review link from the email — no WordPress account required.
- Browse the real, live page exactly as a visitor would see it.
- Click “Add Comment” and leave a note pinned to the exact spot on the page.
- Submit the changes for the developer to work on.
- Once items are marked ready, approve each one individually or request further changes.
Free vs Pro
The free version included here supports up to 20 comments per review cycle, one review at a time, and core approve/request-changes functionality. A separate Pro version, sold on our website, adds unlimited comments, a login-free client portal, white-label branding, custom email templates, activity history, and CSV export. The free version is fully functional on its own and does not require the Pro version to work.
Privacy
Review data (client name, email, page URL, comments) is stored only in the siteÌtumọ̀ Yorùbá: ’s own WordPress database. The plugin does not send review data to any external service.

- Upload the plugin files to the
/wp-content/plugins/wexlab-client-reviewdirectory, or install the plugin through the WordPress Plugins screen directly. - Activate the plugin through the “Plugins” screen in WordPress.
- Go to the new “Client Review” menu in your WordPress admin.
- Click “Add Review”, enter your clientÌtumọ̀ Yorùbá: ’s details and the page URL, and send the request.

Does the client need a WordPress account?

No. The client only needs the secure, unique review link sent to their email. They never log into WordPress.

How are review links secured?

Each review is assigned a random, unique token used in the review link. Only someone with that exact link can view and comment on that specific review.

Does this plugin send data to any external server?

No. All review data is stored in your siteÌtumọ̀ Yorùbá: ’s own WordPress database. Email notifications are sent using WordPressÌtumọ̀ Yorùbá: ’s native
wp_mail()function, using your siteÌtumọ̀ Yorùbá: ’s own mail configuration. -
Does this require an SMTP plugin?

No,
wp_mail()works out of the box. If your host does not reliably deliver mail, you can optionally install an SMTP plugin — Wexlab Client Review will automatically use it since it relies on WordPressÌtumọ̀ Yorùbá: ’s standard mail function. -
What happens if I uninstall the plugin?

Uninstalling the plugin permanently removes all review requests and comments stored by the plugin, along with its settings.
