Dead simple SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) integration under Settings SMTP. No upsell theater to make it seem like itÌtumọ̀ Yorùbá: ’s super complicated and you have to pay for some premium upgrade or your emails will never make it into inboxes.
- Manual SMTP with any host, port, and encryption combination.
- One click connect for Google and Microsoft, using OAuth so no password is ever stored for those accounts.
- SMTP passwords and OAuth secrets are encrypted at rest, derived from your siteÌtumọ̀ Yorùbá: ’s own unique keys, never stored in plain text.
- Built-in test email form with a link to mail-tester.com for a full deliverability check.
- No dependencies, no external libraries, no telemetry.
Works with Proton, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Mailgun, and most other SMTP services.

FAQ
-
Why arenÌtumọ̀ Yorùbá: ’t emails being delivered?
-
First, test the deliverability of your email at mail-tester.com. Then adjust as needed. YouÌtumọ̀ Yorùbá: ’ll likely need to adjust your DNS settings at your domain registrar (like GoDaddy) or your CDN (like Cloudflare).
-
I moved my site to a new server and my SMTP password or connections stopped working?
-
Stored credentials are encrypted using keys derived from your siteÌtumọ̀ Yorùbá: ’s
AUTH_KEYandAUTH_SALTvalues inwp-config.php. If those values change during a migration, saved credentials can no longer be decrypted and youÌtumọ̀ Yorùbá: ’ll need to re-enter your SMTP password or reconnect Google/Microsoft. This is expected, and safer than credentials that could be copied in plain text between servers. -
Are there any external dependencies or privacy concerns?
-
The plugin itself doesnÌtumọ̀ Yorùbá: ’t track or collect your data in any way. However, unless you run your own email server, integrating SMTP inherently involves connecting to a third-party server, which will have its own privacy policy. Connecting, whether via manual SMTP or OAuth, exposes your websiteÌtumọ̀ Yorùbá: ’s domain, server IP, and other email related credentials to that provider. Once SMTP is set up, all future WordPress email, both transactional and contact form submissions, will be routed through your SMTP service of choice, where different levels of logging will take place. See the privacy policies for Google and Microsoft.
