Choose a color palette, a section, and a style. Hit Generate. A fully designed section appears, built from native WordPress blocks and ready for you to edit.

- 7 color palettes — Blue, Emerald, Violet, Rose, Amber, Teal, Charcoal. Muted, eye-friendly tones. The same section renders in any color, so you can match your brand instantly.
- 8 sections — Hero, Services, Call to Action, Menu / Pricing, Testimonials, Team, Q&A, plus one-click Full Page.
- 7 styles — Cards, List, Grid, Carousel, Accordion, Split, Masonry (only the styles that fit each section are offered).
- Scroll effects — Fade, slide, scale, blur, reveal, text reveal, 3D tilt, 3D flip and staggered cards. Lightweight, CSS-driven, applied from the GENE Effects panel on any block.
Why core blocks?
Every section is built from standard WordPress core blocks (group, columns, heading, paragraph, image, buttons, details). That means:
- Fully editable — change any text, image, color, or layout from the editor
- No vendor lock-in — if you deactivate the plugin, your content stays intact (youÌtumọ̀ Yorùbá: ’ll just lose the visual polish)
- Works in any block-aware theme
- Lightweight — CSS-driven color palettes, no heavy frameworks
Pairs perfectly with the GENE theme, but works with any block-aware WordPress theme.

Does this require the GENE theme?

No. GENE Section Builder works with any WordPress block-aware theme. It looks especially good with the GENE theme because the color palettes match.

Can I edit the generated sections?

Yes. After clicking Generate, the section is replaced with regular core blocks. You can edit every part — text, images, colors, spacing — using normal WordPress editor controls.

What happens if I deactivate the plugin?

Your content stays. The blocks were converted to core blocks at generation time, so they keep working. YouÌtumọ̀ Yorùbá: ’ll lose the design CSS polish (cards lose their elevated look, hero sections lose their dark background, etc.), but no content is lost.

How is this different from a pattern?

Patterns are static. Section Builder lets you choose color/section/style combinations and generates the right design for that combination. ItÌtumọ̀ Yorùbá: ’s a guided picker, not a flat library.

Is there a paid version?

GENE Section Builder is fully free with no locked features — nothing here is gated. If you want a different design system, there is a separate companion plugin, GENE Blocks Studio, available at https://gene-wp.com/. It applies six complete visual aesthetics consistently across every section. It is a standalone product, not an upgrade that unlocks this plugin; everything in GENE Section Builder stays free.
