Once the Wallid payment method is enabled at checkout, payments are authorised within the customerÌtumọ̀ Yorùbá: ’s own banking app and completed via the Faster Payments network.

External services
This plugin connects to the Wallid Pay-by-Bank service at https://pay.wallid.co to create payments and redirect customers to complete Open Banking checkout.
When a customer chooses Wallid at checkout, the plugin sends the following order data to https://pay.wallid.co:
- currency
- order total
- order ID / reference
- shop / terminal ID
- checkout URL
- success (order received) URL
- payment type (WOOCOMMERCE)
Customers are then redirected to https://pay.wallid.co to select their bank and authorise the payment. Wallid sends payment status updates back to the store via webhook so WooCommerce order status can be updated.
