I found John DyerÌtumọ̀ Yorùbá: ’s Native Fullscreen JavaScript API the other day, and I thought it was pretty awesome.
A true fullscreen mode ! Without Flash !
ItÌtumọ̀ Yorùbá: ’s quite experimental so far, but “support is coming to most browsers in the next few months”. You should read John DyerÌtumọ̀ Yorùbá: ’s post about that.
The plugin come with a widget and a shortcode to generate the button. Use a CSS selector to target the element you want to display in fullscreen… and thatÌtumọ̀ Yorùbá: ’s it !

- Upload the plugin folder “nativd-fullscreen” to the “/wp-content/plugins/” directory or get it from your dashboard.
- Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
