## Àpèjúwe

Create a voice-powered website ambassador in five minutes. Talk2Me analyzes your
site, speaks in your voice and answers visitors’ questions around the clock.

Your visitors donÌtumọ̀ Yorùbá: ’t fill in a form and wait for a reply. They click
once, and theyÌtumọ̀ Yorùbá: ’re talking — out loud, in real time — to an AI that
sounds like you and knows what you sell. It greets them, answers their questions,
and never clocks off.

#### Set it up in five minutes

ThereÌtumọ̀ Yorùbá: ’s no code to paste and no theme files to edit. A guided wizard
walks you through the whole thing:

 1. **Get started** in your WordPress dashboard.
 2. **Create your widget** on Talk2Me (opens in a new tab): sign up, record a short
voice sample to clone your voice, add your photo, and point the agent at your website
so it learns what you sell.
 3. **Connect it** back in WordPress by pasting your widget ID (or the full embed snippet).
 4. **Go live** — the button is installed on your site automatically.

You can turn the button on or off any time from the Settings screen, and update
the connected widget whenever you like. The Settings screen also links you straight
to your Talk2Me dashboard to change your agentÌtumọ̀ Yorùbá: ’s greeting, update
its knowledge base, swap its photo and voice, and view conversation analytics.

#### Features

 * Guided, step-by-step setup wizard that launches on activation.
 * One-click connect: paste your widget ID **or** the whole embed snippet — the
   ID is detected for you.
 * Site-wide floating button, loaded efficiently in the footer.
 * `[talk2me_button]` shortcode to force-load the button on a specific page.
 * Quick links from Settings to manage your agentÌtumọ̀ Yorùbá: ’s greeting, knowledge,
photo, voice, and analytics on your Talk2Me dashboard.
 * Clean uninstall — removes its options when deleted.

#### Account required

Creating a Talk2Me widget requires a Talk2Me account and, to publish the button
to your live site, a Talk2Me subscription. The plugin guides you to talk2mebuttons.
com to set this up. See the External Services section below.

### External services

This plugin connects to two external services operated by Talk2Me:

**1. Talk2Me app (talk2mebuttons.com)**
The setup wizard links you to https://talk2mebuttons.
com to create your widget (sign up, clone your voice, add a photo, build your agent,
and subscribe). This happens in a new browser tab on the Talk2Me site; the plugin
itself does not transmit your data there. Your use of that site is governed by Talk2MeÌtumọ̀
Yorùbá: ’s Terms of Service (https://talk2me.ai/terms-of-service) and Privacy Policy(
https://talk2me.ai/privacy-policy).

**2. Talk2Me embed script (popup.talk2me.bot)**
When the button is enabled, your
site loads a small JavaScript file from https://popup.talk2me.bot/embed.js on your
front-end pages. This script renders the floating button and powers the voice conversation.
It is loaded with your widget ID (the “slug” you connect during setup). This request
is made from your visitors’ browsers when they view your site. Data handled by conversations
with the widget is processed by Talk2Me under the policies linked above.

No data is sent to these services from your WordPress admin beyond what you choose
to do on the Talk2Me site.

through the WordPress Plugins screen directly.

## FAQ

### Do I need a Talk2Me account?

Yes. The plugin installs and controls the button on your WordPress site, but the
widget itself (your voice, your agent, your subscription) is created and hosted
on Talk2Me. The setup wizard walks you through it.

### I already have a widget. Can I skip the wizard?

Yes. Go to **Talk2Me Settings**, paste your widget ID (or embed snippet), enable
the button, and save.

### Where does the button appear?

By default it floats in the bottom-right corner of every page. If you prefer to
load it only on specific pages, turn off the site-wide setting and add the `[talk2me_button]`
shortcode to those pages.

### How do I remove the button?

Turn off “Show button on site” in Settings, or deactivate the plugin.
