If you prefer you can display a different name to your website name. [maha-copyright-date = change_name = “New name here”]

- Upload the plugin files to the
/wp-content/plugins/plugin-namedirectory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly. - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress
- Add the shortcode [maha-copyright-date] on your page.

- Why do I need this plugin, won’t most wordpress themes have a copyright date already included

They do but most themes have the date as a static text. With this plugin the date will change automatically each year.
- I want to use a different name in front of the copyright symbol not the websites name.
