The redirection settings can be adjusted in Settings > Groups 404 : Visits to protected pages can be redirected to: * a specific post, or * the WordPress login The redirection can also be applied for restricted categories, tags and other taxonomy terms if [Groups Restrict Categories](https://www.itthinx.com/shop/groups-restrict-categories/) is used. So many people jump to complicated membership plugins when they could do everything they need with Groups. This 404 redirect add-on works like a charm. I made a new page saying “You donÌtumọ̀ Yorùbá: ’t have permission to view this area.” and it redirects the user to that page if they are logged in but donÌtumọ̀ Yorùbá: ’t have the correct rights to view the content. If the user is not logged in then the link will take the user to WP login page.
