The key is sent to https://api.formbuilder.com when connecting or refreshing the form picker. It is stored encrypted using your WordPress authentication salt; rotating that salt requires reconnecting. Site administrators can replace or remove it. Editors can select public forms without seeing the key. PHP OpenSSL is required for connection storage. Visitors viewing a form connect to https://formbuilder.com. Their submissions and files go directly to that service, not the WordPress database or media library. WordPress does not receive private response data.
