The Easy Peasy Google Analytics plugin allows you to easily include the analytics tracking code into the footer of your website. This plugin eliminates the need to edit your theme files to add your tracking code. No code editing is involved in the process, all you need to start logging your statistics is your tracking ID.

Navigate to your settings page and click the “general” settings page. 
Enter your google tracking ID into the field and press the save button.

- Upload “easy-peasy-google-analytics” folder to the “/wp-content/plugins/” directory.
- Activate the plugin through the “Plugins” menu in WordPress.
- Navigate to “Settings” -> “General” of your WordPress admin panel.
- Scroll down at the bottom of the page and paste your Tracking ID into the “Google Analytics UA Tracking ID” option.
- Save the changes.
If you don’t have a Google Analytics ID, you need to go to Google Analytics, create an account and get the tracking ID from your profile. Your tracking ID should be similar to UA-0000000-0.
Alternatively more specific instruction are available into the “Help” tab of the “General” settings page in your WordPress dashboard.

This plugin has been created for my own needs, i was tired of manually editing theme files to include my tracking code and I also didn’t want to use any of the existing analytics plugin since the majority of them come with options and features that i do not need.
This plugin does all i need with a single setting without cluttering your dashboard.
